Eric Minar

Staff Sargeant Eric Minar USAF of Tacoma, Washington has been appointed as the Washington State Director for ChunJiDo International. Mr. Minar has served in the Air Force for 11 years and during this time he has been stationed in Germany and Washington. Mr Minar has served his country with great honor during his deployment to Iraq and Kyrzgastan. Mr Minar holds Black Belt rank in the art of ChunJiDo and has also trained in Wushu Kung Fu, Aikido, and Taekwondo. Mr Minar also taught self-defense to troops during his deployment to Iraq. Mr Minar an Instructor in the North American ChunJiDo Association, began his study in the art of ChunJiDo in 1997 under the direction of Grandmaster Robert Cutrell and received his Black Belt in 2003. Mr. Minar has competed in numerous tournaments winning trophies, including Grand Champion, in forms, breaking, and sparring. Mr Minar operates the Mel Korum YMCA ChunJiDo Academy in Puyallup, Washington.
