Hanshi Michael Chappell

Hanshi/Soke Michael Chappell is the founder of Hakutsuru (White Crane) Rakanken (Monk Fist) International and the Hakusturu Rakanken Koryukan. Hanshi Chappell is a 10th Dan in Hakutsuru Kempo Jutsu and is an international certified Qigong instructor with the World Independent Chinese Martial Arts Federation, and holds Dan ranks in Taekwondo,Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate, Okinawan Kobudo,and Ryukyu Kempo. He also has extensive training in boxing, kick boxing, jujitsu, modern arnis, and escrima. Hanshi Chappell has studied and trained for thirty years and has instructed at the national and international levels and is an expert in close quarters self defense, and woman and children’s self defense and crime prevention. He is a member of the International Grandmaster Society, the International Board of Examiners, W.O.M.A Headmaster and Sokeship Union and is the Florida State representative of Hakutsuru Kempo Jutsu for Chunjido International.
