Master Tom Cleaver

Master Tom Cleaver started training in the martial arts in 1978 under Vonley Burgess (deceased)in the styles of Pai Lum Kung Fu and Mongoose Kung Fu. and attained 2nd degree black belt August 17, 1988.

Master Cleaver was also promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt in Shorin Ryu in 1983. After years of continuous training Master Cleaver attained 7th degree black belt in Shorin Ryu on October 30, 2003 from Dr. Jim Thomas – 9th Dan. On January 27, 2001 Master Cleaver attained 2nd dan Ju-Jitsu from Jake Allen – 10th Dan.

Master Cleaver has also won numerous national championships and was named Action Martial Arts Magazine Outstanding Male Competitor of the Year in 2001. Master Cleaver is also the Midwest Martial Arts Alliance Director for State of Indiana.
